LVP and Flooring Installation

Luxury vinyl plank has become the default for busy households and rentals, and for good reason — it handles pets, kids, and spills better than most alternatives. A good install comes down to what happens under the planks: a flat, clean, dry subfloor and the right underlayment.

We install residential LVP and click-lock flooring for homes and rental properties throughout Johnson County and the south side of Indianapolis.

Flooring Work We Handle

  • Luxury vinyl plank installation

LVP laid out for a natural plank pattern with proper expansion gaps at the walls.

  • Click-lock flooring

Floating floor systems installed to the manufacturer's layout and spacing requirements.

  • Underlayment and moisture barrier

The right pad or barrier for the product and the space, including below-grade rooms.

  • Quarter-round and transitions

Shoe molding, T-molds, and thresholds installed for a finished edge at every doorway.

  • Removal of existing flooring

Old vinyl or laminate pulled up and hauled out when included in the quote.

  • Basic floor preparation

Cleaning, fastener checks, and minor flattening so the new floor sits properly.

  • Residential flooring

Single rooms, main living areas, and full rental turnovers.

Subfloor leveling, damaged or soft subfloor replacement, moisture problems, and stubborn old adhesive all need to be evaluated in person and can change the quote. Door undercutting and appliance moves are also worth mentioning up front.

Common Questions

Do you remove the old flooring?
We can, and it's included when it's part of the quote. Floating floors come up quickly; glued-down vinyl and old adhesive take longer and are priced accordingly.
Does my subfloor need to be leveled first?
Click-lock flooring needs a reasonably flat subfloor or the joints will separate over time. We check flatness before installing and let you know if leveling work is needed.
Do I need an underlayment?
It depends on the product. Some LVP has pad attached; others need separate underlayment, and below-grade areas usually call for a moisture barrier. We'll match it to what you've purchased and where it's going.
What about the trim and transitions?
Quarter-round and transition strips at doorways and floor-height changes are part of a finished install, so the edges look intentional rather than raw.
